Field notes are descriptive observations about the world around us that are written by researchers.
The title combines both my qualities as a researcher and an artist, just like the carefully crafted posts that I make!
Field Notes of an Investigative Artist is an exploration of history, anthropology, literature, and current events in the perspective of an artist.
I always ensure that my posts are up to date, use quality sources, and of course, includes a fun piece of art related to the subject matter. Therefore, posts will take around one to two weeks to complete.
Topics will vary! I usually take inspiration from current real-world events, media, or phenomenons, but sometimes a post will just be about a topic that takes my fancy that week. In general, I gravitate towards history, sociology, art, literature, social sciences, and a splash of biology.
